Jakarta, December 6, 2024 – BNI Sekuritas, in collaboration with Karya Salemba Empat (KSE), successfully organized a series of educational activities at BNI Sekuritas' head office, Indofood Tower, Jakarta. The event was attended by 30 students from various universities, including 25 KSE scholarship recipients from Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, IPB University, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah, Universitas Brawijaya, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Universitas Sumatera Utara, as well as non-KSE students from Universitas Prasetya Mulya.

The first session, Financial Literacy, began at 8:30 AM with an opening by the MC. This was followed by a welcome speech from Mrs. Vera Ongyono, Acting President Director of BNI Sekuritas, who provided an overview of the event's objectives.

Next, Mrs. Firdila Sari, Donor Relation of Karya Salemba Empat, delivered a speech highlighting the importance of financial education for the younger generation. Following the speeches, the event continued with a group photo session and a symbolic awarding of KSE scholarships to outstanding students. This moment symbolized a shared commitment to supporting education and fostering the potential of Indonesian students.

The ceremony proceeded with the official launch of the KSE scholarship program, accompanied by the presentation of a souvenir from KSE to BNI Sekuritas. This act further underscored their collaboration in empowering and nurturing the nation's youth.

One of the event's highlights was the introduction of the BIONS application, presented by Maika Helma Yenti, Partnership, Collaboration, and Synergy. The app was showcased as a tool for students to better understand the world of investment and enhance their financial literacy. This session offered a comprehensive overview of the application's features and its role in supporting personal financial goals.

The session was followed by the Investment Games, a key attraction of the day. Led by Mrs. Fanny Suherman, Head of Retail Research at BNI Sekuritas, the game provided participants with an engaging and interactive simulation of investment decision-making. This activity aimed to test their investment skills and deepen their understanding of financial market dynamics. The session concluded with a symbolic award ceremony for the winners of the Investment Games.

After lunch, the second session commenced at 1:30 PM, featuring two parallel activities. The Career Coaching session welcomed speakers from UBS Sekuritas Indonesia, including Mr. Andre Tjahjamuljo, COO of UBS Sekuritas, and the UBS team. In this session, participants gained valuable insights into career development in the financial sector through engaging presentations and interactive Q&A discussions.

Simultaneously, the internship program selection took place in a separate room. Fourteen finalists had the opportunity to present their ideas and projects before a panel of judges from BNI Sekuritas. Each finalist was given 15 minutes, comprising a 5-minute presentation and a 10-minute interview, to showcase their potential, creativity, and understanding of the investment world. BNI Sekuritas hopes that this event will inspire and prepare students to face the challenges of the professional world while enhancing their financial literacy, a crucial skill in today’s modern era.
