As one of the KSE scholarship recipients, the value that has always been inherent and inspiring about KSE is its dedication to Indonesia in the field of education. Starting with only three scholarship recipients in 1995, by 2022, the programme had grown to include 1,704 scholarship recipients from 35 state universities in Indonesia. It is no surprise that there are now more than 8,000 KSE scholarship alumni.
KSE’s vision of “Education and Teaching” sets KSE apart, because with this vision, scholarship recipients not only receive financial assistance, but also training and education such as leadership camps, workshops/seminars in financial literacy, investment and entrepreneurship. In addition, KSE has also developed the Technology for Indonesia programme (research development) and the Entrepreneur Academy (development for scholarship recipients who have a business).
Therefore, with the training and the spirit of sharing, networking and developing, scholarship recipients are well equipped to face the world of work and connect with alumni from other universities and batches through the alumni association. PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk (Tugu Insurance), through its CSR programme Bakti Tugu in the field of Education and Financial Literacy, shares a common vision with KSE in the development of education in Indonesia and financial literacy, particularly in the field of insurance.
