Camp I for KSE Scholarship Recipients for the 2023-2024 Academic Year with the agenda "Interactive talkshow related to KSE values and organization" and material on Loving NKRI & National Insight which was held online on 21 October 2023. Karya Salemba Empat (KSE) Foundation aims to be able to provide knowledge to students regarding what KSE is, how the origin of KSE, its development to date, and invites students to love NKRI more by increasing their love for the country. This activity was attended by approximately 1,000 students from 35 KSE Partner Universities.
Creating a smart Indonesia is one of the joint missions of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. ("SIG") and Yayasan Karya Salemba Empat ("KSE") in building an advanced and self-sufficient Indonesian Nation. Since 2021 SIG has supported the scholarship programme promoted by the KSE Foundation. In 2023, SIG again supported KSE by providing scholarships to 40 students at universities in Indonesia. 500 Million Rupiah is given by SIG through KSE to support this programme.
Karya Salemba Empat Foundation ("KSE") together with one of the donors, PT UBS Sekuritas Indonesia, held quite fun activities in the form of river clean ups and ecobrick competitions on September 30 2023. This activity was carried out in the Lake Situ Gede tourist area, Bogor by collaborating with participants, namely students in grades 4-5 of SDN 2 Situgede, Bogor, a total of 39 students participated. This activity began with an opening by the MC as well as a welcome for the participants who had come. In this series of opening events there were remarks delivered by each representative, namely KSE by Mr. Kennyarso F as Secretary II of KSE, then Mr. Joshua Tanja as Main Director of PT UBS Sekuritas Indonesia, Mrs. Ranti Wiliasih as Mentor of IPB Scholarship Recipients, and Mr. Robby as teacher representatives from SDN 2 Situ Gede. All parties said they were very happy with holding an activity like this, namely educating students to protect the environment by throwing away rubbish in the right place. They both hoped that in the future this activity would have a positive impact on changing the behavior of all participants involved. Not only that, in this session there was also a presentation of souvenirs as mementos from UBS to SDN 2 Situ Gede and also to IPB.
Karya Salemba Empat Foundation ("KSE") together with one of the donors, namely Mrs. Parwati Surjaudaja as President Director of Bank OCBC NISP held an activity with the theme "Leadership Development for Women". This activity will be held on Tuesday, September 26 2023 at the OCBC on Space BSD Building, Tangerang. This activity was attended by a total of 30 female students from various universities receiving KSE scholarships, starting from UPI, UNPAD, ITB, ITS, UNDIP, UNSRI, UI, UNJ, and UIN Jakarta.
The inauguration of Community Development Activities in Pematang Johar involved the KSE UNIMED, UINSU and USU associations which were supported by BRI Investment Management as the KSE Scholarship donor.
