The "Young Investor Camp I" activity with the theme "leadership and Financial Literacy" with PT Mandiri Sekuritas took place on Friday, March 22 2024 at The Loft Mandiri Sekuritas, Jakarta. This event was attended by around 50 KSE scholarship recipients from the University of Indonesia, Bogor Agricultural Institute, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta, Jakarta State University, and Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University Banten who attended in person and around 100 KSE scholarship recipients who attended online.
The event took place from 14.00 – 17.00 WIB, first of all, the first speech by Mrs. Firdila Sari as Donor Relations of the Karya Salemba Empat Foundation described the importance of scholarships as an instrument for developing the integrity, nationality and competence of scholarship recipients. Mrs. Firdila Sari expressed hope for the positive contribution that scholarship recipient students can make in realizing their best potential in the future. This speech also emphasized the importance of collaboration between students, foundations and companies to advance financial education and literacy in Indonesia.
After the speech, a symbolization of the PT Mandiri Sekuritas Scholarship Program was carried out as a form of joint commitment in supporting human resource development through education. The symbolization of the PT Mandiri Sekuritas Scholarship Program at this event involves representative actions that illustrate the shared commitment and hopes between scholarship recipients, companies and foundations. This symbolization may include the moment of handing over tokens of appreciation to scholarship recipients as a symbol of support and investment in developing their potential.
The material on Leadership in Organizations delivered by Mrs. Nadya Siregar, as Head of Corporate Secretary and Communication at PT Mandiri Sekuritas, emphasized various types of leadership and how to become a human-centered leader but still able to achieve the targets set.
Mrs. Nadya also shared her years of experience as a leader based on high communication skills, which are supported by her Master's educational background. This material provides in-depth insight into the importance of building good relationships with teams and leading in an inspiring way, while remaining focused on achieving organizational goals. In the material "Introduction to Capital Markets and Investment Products" delivered by Norman Yudha Aditya Andreswara, who serves as Relations Officer of PT Mandiri Sekuritas, event participants were introduced to the basic concepts of capital markets and the various investment products available.
