The Women Power Cikarang Listrindo Camp: Initiating Change in Muara Bakti Village
After attending the class session, The Women Power Camp participants were challenged to take part directly in the Community Development (Comdev) program initiated by Paguyuban KSE UNJ and PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk in Muara Bakti Village.
Implementation stage (18-21 November) activities took place in Kampung Pasar Emas, involving sewing production houses and nugget making. Students together with the community conducted market research, packaging design, bead production, and innovation in moringa-based nuggets. The participating groups collaborated with local mothers to create new formulas and packaging tailored to market tastes, especially for mothers and children.
The inauguration of this production house was attended by stakeholders, the community, participants and PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk. A symbolic event in the form of a ribbon cutting in front of the production house marks the start of economic activities at that location. Guests were also taken on a tour to see the contents of the production house and various works, including clothing and jewelry.
In this session, Tsania (Brawijaya University student) together with Jasmine (Indonesian Education University) presented the results of Comdev activities. Participants explained the process of producing moringa-based nuggets, from ingredient preparation to marketing strategies. Testimonials on the taste of the nuggets were given directly by the people who attended.
The event ended with a group photo between the community, PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk, and the Cikarang Listrindo-Women Power Camp Batch 3-2024 participants. Various handicraft products made by women and Karang Taruna were also exhibited, providing real evidence of community empowerment. From market research to product innovation, this program reflects ongoing collaboration and a spirit of empowerment.
