The Tugu Insurance Seminar with the theme "Insurance Literacy for the Nation: Reasons Why Insurance is Important for Millennials & Gen Z" will be held online on August 29 2023 at 14.00 - 15.00 WIB. Through collaboration between the Karya Salemba Empat Foundation ("KSE") and PT Tugu Asuransi Pratama Indonesia Tbk. (“Tugu Insurance”), this activity aims to provide motivation and knowledge to students regarding the importance of managing finances well through insurance from an early age. This activity was attended by more than 200 students from 35 KSE Partner PTNs.
The series of activities began with an opening by the Master of Caremony (MC), then continued with singing the national songs Indonesia Raya and Mars KSE. In order to open the series of Tugu Insurance seminar activities, a speech was delivered by Arief Wana as the KSE Board of Trustees. He said that insurance is very crucial to mitigate future risks. Mr. Arief also expressed his gratitude to Tugu Insurance for the support provided and also thanked the scholarship recipients and the KSE Foundation for participating in the seminar activities.
The next speech was delivered by Inadia Aristyavani as public relations and Head of the Corporate Social Responsibility Department at Tugu Insurance. Mrs. Inadia Aristyavani expressed her gratitude to the scholarship recipients and the KSE Foundation for participating in the Tugu Insurance insurance literacy seminar. Tugu Insurance hopes to continuously carry out outreach and education regarding financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia in order to increase the financial literacy index in Indonesia.
The next series of activities was related to the introduction of the Tugu Insurance profile delivered by Mrs. Inadia Aristyavani, which consisted of an overview of the Tugu Insurance profile, the organizational structure of the Tugu Group, the composition of share distribution, service products, and the achievements that Tugu Insurance had achieved. The next activity was the symbolization of the Tugu Insurance scholarship program represented by students who received the Tugu Insurance scholarship from IPB University.
The next series of activities was the presentation of material related to "Insurance literacy for the country" which was delivered by Mr. Yayat Supriyatna, SE, As, M.M as MV & Retail U/W Department Head of Tugu Insurace. The material presented by Mr. Yayat Supriyatna included an explanation of the definition of risk, insurance principles, insurance functions, insurance products, a simulation of MV insurance premium calculations, and how to obtain Tugu Insurance insurance products. The activity continued with a question and answer session.
