Seventh grade social media usage coaching programme and School Student Council training at YPAK Junior High School. The purpose of this activity is to specifically inform the bad impact of gadgets at an early age and motivate them not to use gadgets excessively to produce a positive impact. In addition, the training for the School Student Council also aims to create leaders who are ready to bring positive changes to the school and encourage them to be active in the organisation of the School Student Council at school. Later in the afternoon, the closing ceremony of PTPN III Leadership Camp II Batch 1 took place at the Sei Karang Training Centre, the first of its kind held by MAMI on the USU campus. The event was also attended by Mr Drs. Effendi Manurung - Head of USU Student Welfare, Mrs Dyah Wulandari - MAMI Head of Corporate Affairs, Mr Ade Rachmat Suryanto - POSS Manager of MAMI Sumatera Section in Medan, Mrs Siti Herlinda - CSR Manager of MAMI, Mr Hengky Poerwowidagdo - Executive Secretary & Chief Operating Officer of KSE and Mrs Maya Dintasari - Donor Relations of KSE.
The event was opened with a traditional Malay dance from the KSE scholarship recipients, followed by remarks from Mr Hengky and Mr Effendi. The event continued with briefings and group discussions of the participants with 4 different topics of discussion. The workshop continued with an explanation of MAMI's Company Profile by Mr Ade. With the presentation of the results of the discussion by the group representatives, the responses were given directly by Mr Ade and Mrs Dyah.
The highlight of this event was the awarding of the winners of the Mutual Fund Article Competition at USU. With 111 students participating in the competition, the winners were chosen, namely:
First winner Elvira Eka Putri with the article title "What is Mutual Fund? Mutual Funds, Young People's Investments" received a mutual fund investment prize of Rp.2 million
Second place Fibriyanti Yulia Pasaribu with the article title "It's Time for Indonesian Youth to Realise Change with Manulife Indonesia" received a mutual fund investment prize of Rp.1.5 million
3rd place Mei Riana BR Perangin with the article title "Mutual Fund Investment for Young People" received a mutual fund investment prize of Rp. 1 Million
each of the Honourable Champions received a mutual fund investment prize of Rp. 300 thousand.
1st Hopeful Champion Jhan Pranata with the article title "Mutual Funds as an Investment for Young People to Guarantee Success in Old Age"
2nd runner up Nuranisah with the article title "Easy Investing with Mutual Funds"
Third runner-up Mhd Fadil Manurung with the article title "Mutual Funds as an Effort to Realise Indonesia's Digital Economic Growth through the Role of MAMI: A Millennial Generation Perspective"
With the symbolic end of the prize giving, the activity ended with a group photo.
