School Visit and Evaluation of "I Love Science 2015" Programme

After running for more than 2 months, the "I Love Science" Programme which is a CSR Programme of Bank OCBC NISP in collaboration with Karya Salemba Empat Foundation (KSE) and Surya Institute conducted programme monitoring activities by conducting School Visits and Programme Evaluation. On Wednesday 18 November 2015 at SDN (State Elementary School) Cihuni 1 Tangerang, Bank OCBC NISP with Surya Institute and KSE visited the selected school.

The event was attended by Prof. Yohanes Surya from Surya Institute who is the Founder of Gasing (Easy Fun and Exciting) learning method accompanied by Mrs. Tina Tjintawati - Corporate Communication Division Head of Bank OCBC NISP, Mrs. Fonita Paula - CSR Manager of Bank OCBC NISP, Mr. Agus Purwanto - Staff from Surya Institute, Mr. Christian P. Somali - Donor Relation KSE and KSE (Karya Salemba Empat) Staff Representative.

In this visit, we saw the activities of SDN Cihuni 1 Tangerang students learning Mathematics and science which have been taught by students who have received training in applying the Gasing Method directly guided by Prof. Yohanes Surya. In addition, the next event was the ILS Programme Evaluation at Taman Kayu Restaurant, Tangerang. This activity was attended by teacher representatives of 15 Jabodetabek elementary schools that participated in this programme and students who taught at the elementary schools who were KSE scholarship recipients from UNJ and UNPAD and Surya Institute students.
