Every year, Karya Salemba Empat Foundation receives more than 18,000 applications for scholarships, however, due to limitations, the number of students awarded scholarships is no more than 22%. In addition to providing scholarship benefits, graduates who have integrity, national insight, love for the homeland, country and nation through coaching programmes.
The programme of Karya Salemba Empat Foundation is thanks to the good cooperation that has been established between KSE, Donors, Academic Community, and Alumni of scholarship recipients which is the main factor in the development of Karya Salemba Foundation until now. With this background, KSE held the Annual Gathering 2015 held at Shanghri-La Hotel, 9 September 2015 to appreciate the Partners and Donors and explain the programme and annual report transparently to the Partners and Donors.
The activity began with remarks from the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Karya Salemba Empat Foundation, Mirza Adityaswara, who introduced and invited the founders of the Karya Salemba Empat Foundation. One of the things he expressed was his pride in the KSE Alumni Association "The spirit of sharing is a habit that is transmitted to anyone. The strong bond between the alumni of KSE scholarship recipients has the same spirit as KSE, which always wants to contribute to the development of the nation. The Alumni have started to help the scholarship recipients, but also involve the coaching and management of the KSE Foundation."
Furthermore, Arief Wana as the Chief Executive Officer of Karya Salemba Empat Foundation gave a presentation on the programmes, benefits and achievements that have been implemented by KSE until 2015. He further revealed "The hope for the coming year is the increasing support from donors, alumni and other parties to help the main mission in contributing to the progress of the nation through education. We have to work harder to realise the dreams of the younger generation of higher education and to realise the vision and mission of KSE. With the commitment of our donors, we believe we can strengthen the trust and hope of the KSE community in this Foundation. Thank you for all your support and thank you for being part of a better future generation".
Not to forget Mr Chapman Taylor as the Board of Trustees of Karya Salemba Empat Foundation, where he is an American citizen who loves Indonesia. In addition to KSE, he also serves as Portfolio Manager of the Washington D.C. office. He had the opportunity to share his experiences with the Karya Salemba Empat Foundation.
As an expression of gratitude for the good cooperation that has been created so far, KSE also gave appreciation and Annual Report to the Donors, Academic Community, and Alumni while having a friendly gathering at the end of the event.
