Indika Energy Head Office – Thursday, April 24, 2025 – Yayasan Karya Salemba Empat (KSE) held a Sharing Leadership & Company Profile activity with PT Indika Energy. This activity aims to encourage the strengthening of leadership and broaden the horizons of KSE scholarship recipients regarding the professional world and energy industry in Indonesia. This activity took place offline at the Indika Energy Head Office in South Jakarta and was attended by 32 participants from 7 KSE partner universities consisting of the University of Indonesia (UI), Jakarta State University (UNJ), Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University (UNTIRTA), Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UINJKT), Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB), Mulawarman University (UNMUL), Palangka Raya University (UPR).

The event opened at 9.30 WIB with the Master of Ceremony (MC), followed by singing the song Indonesia Raya and the KSE March. Then continued with the reading of scholarship achievements from Indika Energy delivered by Herlin Sri Wahyuni. In her presentation, she said that Indika Energy has supported and played an active role in various KSE Foundation programs for 10 years, and this collaboration is part of the company's commitment to building superior human resources in Indonesia and having an impact on society.

The next event was a speech from Mr. Hengky Poerwowidagdo as the secretary and Chief Operating Officer of the KSE Foundation who expressed his gratitude for the support of Indika Energy which has consistently accompanied KSE for a decade.

He also emphasized the importance of synergy between the world of education and industry to create a strong young generation ready to compete globally.

The next event was a presentation and demonstration of the Smart Trash Bin (TONGSIS) delivered by Akmal and Syadat as the manufacturing team. In this session, they explained how TONGSIS works and the benefits as an environmentally friendly technological innovation in waste sorting. Not only presented, TONGSIS was also symbolically handed over to PT Indika Energy as a form of work from KSE Scholarship recipients through the Technology for Indonesia program.

The next event was the presentation of a plaque from the KSE Foundation, presented by Mr. Hengky to Mr. Albert Aulia Ilyas, as President Director of PT Kalista Nusa Armada, a subsidiary of PT Indika Energy Tbk. As a form of appreciation in return, Indika Energy also presented lilies as a symbol of the close cooperation that continues to be maintained between the two parties.

The next event was a presentation of material by Mr. Albert Aulia Ilyas, as President Director of PT Kalista Nusa Armada, a subsidiary of PT Indika Energy Tbk. On that occasion, he explained Indika Energy's efforts to reduce carbon emissions by 2025. One of the concrete steps taken is to replace the use of fossil fuels with electrical energy through the use of Electric Vehicles (EV), as part of Kalista's product innovation.

Not only that, he also shared his views on becoming a great leader, namely a leader who is able to create a vision of the future, be open-minded, empower others (empowered), act in real terms (doer), and have clear goals (purpose-driven). He closed the session with the hope that the younger generation will continue to develop and take an active role in creating a sustainable future.

After the presentation of the material, the event continued with a question and answer session. The material presented by Mr. Ilyas attracted the attention of the scholarship recipients, so that many asked questions about leadership and energy innovation developed by Indika Energy.

The topic opened the participants' insights into the importance of the role of technology in the clean energy transition and how a leader must be able to adapt and be visionary in the midst of changing times.

The question and answer session also closed the series of events, which officially ended at 12.00 WIB. The activity was closed with a group photo session as a form of appreciation and memento for the collaboration between the KSE Foundation and PT Indika Energy. This event was a valuable moment for the scholarship recipients to broaden their horizons, build networks, and be inspired to become empowered and impactful future leaders.
