PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (Bank BNI) has collaborated with the Karya Salemba Empat Foundation (KSE) in a scholarship program for almost 5 years. Bank BNI in this case is very concerned about the nation's education. The BNI Bank scholarship program currently provides special assistance to students from 5 state universities in Eastern Indonesia, such as: Udayana University – Denpasar, Sam Ratulangi University – Manado, Mulawarman University – Samarinda, Tadulako University – Palu, and Nusa Cendana University – Kupang. In this year's period, Bank BNI Bandung Regional Office, West Java added to its program by providing scholarship allowances for students at the Indonesian Education University (UPI) Bandung through a scholarship program organized by KSE.
Bank BNI Scholarship Programme specifically for UPI Bandung students has started since January and planned until August 2015. This scholarship is given to 48 outstanding UPI students from several faculties in all UPI branches in Bandung, Serang, Sumedang and Tasikmalaya.
On Monday, 23 March 2015 at 09.30 - 10.30 WIB at the University Center Building 3rd Floor UPI Campus, Setiabudi, Bandung, a ceremonial event was held to symbolise the awarding of Bank BNI Scholarship in collaboration with KSE for UPI students. Present at this event were:

The event was also attended by 36 UPI students who received Bank BNI - KSE scholarships, 2 Padjadjaran University (UNPAD) students namely Muhammad Ansyari Rizky and Deny Irwan Rakhmatullah representatives of the UNPAD KSE Association and 1 Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) student Ahmad Zaenuddin representative of the ITB KSE Association.
The event began with remarks from Prof. Dr. H. Dadang Sunendar, M.Hum who welcomed the scholarship programme. He said that this scholarship programme was given as an appreciation for outstanding students. Then followed by remarks from Mr Rudi Harjito as a representative of BNI Bank. He said that this scholarship programme is one of Bank BNI's CCR programmes that cares about the education of the nation's children, with this scholarship he hopes to help the learning process of students so that they can become outstanding students. Followed by remarks from Mr Tatan A. Taufik as a representative of KSE. He explained about the scholarship collaboration with Bank BNI which has been going on for quite a long time. In addition, he also explained about the KSE scholarship programme and the KSE development programme as well as the existence of the KSE Association on each campus which has played an important role in the KSE scholarship programme.
Then the event continued with the symbolisation of the awarding of Bank BNI scholarships to UPI students, giving souvenirs from Bank BNI to Prof. Dr. H. Dadang Sunendar, M.Hum representing UPI and to Mr. Tatan A. Taufik as a representative of KSE and finally the signing of the Cooperation Agreement for the Provision of Bank BNI Scholarships with UPI.
The event then continued in a non-formal manner where there was an explanation of the KSE Scholarship Programme by Mr. Hengky Poerwowidagdo, an impression message from Mr. Haryono for the scholarship recipients and testimonial sharing about KSE coaching programmes such as Leadership Camp and sharing about the KSE Association by UNPAD students and ITB KSE Association representatives to UPI students. In this activity, the enthusiasm of UPI students was quite good towards the management of the Association and the KSE scholarship programme.
