Saturday, April 27 2024, the online seminar "INALUM SCHOLARSHIP CAMP I BATCH 2" was held. This event was organized by the Karya Salemba Empat Foundation (KSE) and PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminum (Inalum) with the aim of providing inspiration and equipping 100 INALUM scholarship recipients from 3 KSE partner campuses in Medan, North Sumatra in developing themselves and facing future challenges. The three campuses include the University of North Sumatra (USU), Medan State University (UNIMED) and UIN North Sumatra (UINSU). The activity opened with a presentation from the USU KSE Association regarding the achievements of INALUM Scholarship Recipients and community development carried out by the three scholarship recipient Associations on their respective campuses.
The event opened at 09.30 WIB by witnessing an inspiring speech from Marsangap P. Tamba, Executive Chair of the Karya Salemba Empat Foundation. He firmly emphasized the commitment and contribution that KSE has made in making the nation's life smarter, and expressed hope that the students participating in the seminar could gain as much knowledge as possible. Followed by remarks from Daniel Jimmy P. Hutauruk, Head of INALUM's CSR Department, who expressed INALUM's support and commitment in advancing the nation's education through the INALUM scholarship program, which this time is in its second batch. The symbolization of the INALUM Batch II Scholarship Program was carried out by Daniel and representatives of scholarship recipients.
The presentation of INALUM's Company Profile & CSR Program material was delivered by Daniel Jimmy P Hutauruk who explained the company's vision to become a global leader in the aluminum industry that is environmentally responsible. INALUM's CSR program covers various areas of social and environmental responsibility, such as health, social & cultural, environment, education and economic independence.
The activity continued with a material session on Communication and Public Speaking by Sinta Setyaningsih, Communication and Public Speaking Practitioner and KSE Donor Relations. This material provides an in-depth understanding of the importance of effective communication in a professional context, as well as strategies for improving public speaking skills.
Activities continued on Sunday, April 28 2024, with a material session on Leadership in Organizations by Firdila Sari, Director of Bank Aladin Syariah and Donor Relations KSE, who discussed the importance of leadership in an organization.
The next material was delivered by Dr. Karina Kalani Firdaus, a Mental Health practitioner from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, delivered material on Mental Health in Leadership, reminding participants of the importance of maintaining mental health in leadership roles.
