April 30 2024 – PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (Persero) (“PII”) and Karya Salemba Empat Foundation (“KSE”) held an online seminar with the theme of developing student soft skills. This event was attended by 67 students from PII scholarship recipient campuses, namely Sam Ratulangi University (UNSRAT), Hasanuddi University (UNHAS) and Pattimura University (UNPATTI).
This event was opened with remarks from Ami Tantri, Treasurer and KSE Management. He expressed his gratitude to all participants and emphasized KSE's commitment to supporting education and developing the potential of the younger generation.
The second speech was given by Prof. Drg. Muhammad Ruslin, M.Kes., Ph.D., Sp.BM(K), Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs at Hasanuddin University. Prof. Ruslin expressed his sincere appreciation for the presence of the participants and related parties, and expressed his hope that this event would provide great benefits for all participants.
Furthermore, Yunan Novaris, EVP Corporate Secretary & Communication at PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (Persero), also gave a speech. He emphasized PT PII's commitment to supporting the development of the potential of the younger generation through various scholarship programs, reflecting PT PII's seriousness in making a positive contribution to the advancement of education and national development. The event continued with a session reading the achievements of the scholarship recipients from PT PII, followed by a symbolic moment of handing over the PT PII Scholarship Program. This moment is clear evidence of PT PII's commitment to supporting education and human resource development in Indonesia.
Yunan Novaris also provided material regarding the company profile of PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (Persero). He explained the company's vision, mission and values, as well as various programs that had been implemented to support infrastructure development in Indonesia. This session provided in-depth insight into PT PII and its important role in the world of infrastructure guarantees, as well as providing participants with a broader understanding of the important role of this institution in supporting national infrastructure development.
Training material regarding "Leadership in Organizations" was provided by Cahyana Puthut Wijanarka, People Develop People Trainer. The aim of this session is to improve students' soft skills, equipping them with the basic skills needed to lead and actively participate in various organizations.
Material on "Communication and Public Speaking" was given by Dr. Vivid F. Argarini, a motivator, media & communication practitioner, personal coach, and lecturer. Dr. Vivid conveys the importance of effective communication and public speaking skills in organizational contexts and social interactions. Through presentations and interactive question and answer sessions, he succeeded in providing an in-depth understanding of effective communication strategies and public speaking techniques. It is hoped that this material will be a valuable provision for participants in developing their soft skills, so that they are able to become leaders who communicate effectively and are able to interact well in society.
