Zoom Meeting, Wednesday, December 4, 2024 – PT Ashmore Asset Management Indonesia Tbk (“Ashmore”), in collaboration with the Yayasan Karya Salemba Empat (KSE), successfully held an online seminar on Financial Literacy via Zoom. This program aimed to enhance students' understanding of personal financial management, investment, and financial planning for the future—essential skills in the modern era. The seminar was attended by 135 KSE scholarship recipients from 35 state universities across Indonesia. It is hoped that the program will encourage students to become financially literate young individuals who can apply their knowledge to improve their quality of life.

The event commenced at 4:00 PM WIB, beginning with an opening by the Master of Ceremony (MC), followed by the singing of the Indonesian national anthem Indonesia Raya and the KSE Mars. The enthusiasm of the participants was evident from the start, creating a warm and spirited atmosphere throughout the session.

The next session featured a presentation on Financial Literacy delivered by Mr. Arnendra Vimardano, Vice President of Sales and Distribution at PT Ashmore. He shared valuable insights on financial literacy with an interactive and inspiring approach. Mr. Nendra explained the various phases of investment in life, from initial planning to achieving financial freedom in the future. Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of making wise investment decisions, including understanding risks, setting investment goals, and selecting appropriate investment instruments.

The session aimed to ensure that participants not only grasp the fundamental concepts of financial literacy but also apply them practically in their daily lives. By doing so, KSE scholarship recipients are expected to become financially savvy individuals ready to face economic challenges in the future.

The event continued with a Q&A session, where participants actively engaged by asking insightful questions about the material presented. This interactive discussion allowed them to explore financial literacy in greater depth, both in theory and practice. The Q&A session marked the conclusion of the online seminar with PT Ashmore. The event ended at 5:15 PM WIB, closing with a group photo session involving all participants and the speaker. The seminar left a positive and inspiring impression on everyone involved.
