All of them highlighted the importance of holding biopore hole making activities in order to reduce the potential for flooding, increase soil fertility, and at the same time promote awareness of good waste sorting. The enthusiasm of the kick-off participants increased when the activity moved to the symbolic making of biopore holes. Fatahilah guided the making of biopores which were close to the event venue, namely the front yard of the Baiturrahim Mosque, which was then followed and witnessed directly by the participants of the event. A number of questions and comments, such as those about the function of biopores and how to maintain them, became the main focus of the participants. Biopores themselves are infiltration holes that function to store organic waste. The shape is perpendicular, with a diameter of 10 to 30 centimeters, and a depth of about 50 to 100 centimeters. Filling the biopore holes with organic waste is intended to feed living things underground, such as worms and other small animals to plants through the root system.

The problem of waste has indeed been and will always be a challenge in everyday life. Waste management solutions must continue and involve the participation of the entire community. This is what then became the focus of FEUI 84 in the kick-off activity, namely the socialization of a clean and healthy environment, especially in managing household waste.

The next form of symbolization is the opening of the cover on the sign that has been installed in the yard area, marking the beginning of cooperation between the various parties involved and as the beginning of the planting of biopores starting from the BSD Sector 1.6 point.
