Politeknik Negeri Lampung (Polinela) – Bandar Lampung (Sunday, November 24, 2024). After holding a face-to-face meeting with Deputy Director IV for Cooperation at Polinela and KSE Scholarship Recipients at Lampung University (UNILA), the KSE Foundation carried out special coaching for KSE scholarship recipients at Polinela. This activity is one of the KSE Foundation's strategic work programs which aims to strengthen the potential of scholarship recipient students while optimizing the function of the association. Coaching at Polinela is designed to improve soft skills and encourage innovation in scholarship recipients as part of efforts to strengthen the synergy of the KSE community on campus. This activity was attended by 32 KSE Polinela scholarship recipient students and started at 13.30 WIB.
The Coaching activity was led directly by Secretary 1 and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the KSE Foundation, namely Mr. Hengky Poerwowidagdo. The session began with an introduction stage for each student and each member of the KSE Polinela community expressed their hopes for the progress of the community. In this session, the students openly shared their hopes and views on creating a harmonious community and being able to realize real actions that have an impact on society. The aim of this stage is to encourage students to be braver in voicing their opinions, strengthen their sense of belonging to the association, and improve communication and collaboration skills between members.
The next session was to divide participants into groups based on their hopes for the community. Participants were divided into four groups, namely the Event, Marketing, Community Development (Comdev) and Technology Innovation groups. The aim of this session is to encourage students to work together to exchange ideas, share ideas, and develop creative solutions that can strengthen the community's performance.
After the discussion session between groups, each group presented the results of their discussion to the other groups, who then received comments and direction from Mrs. Maya Dintasari. Mrs. Maya provided constructive views and input for every idea and idea submitted, in order to deepen and enrich the participants' thinking. Based on the results of the presentation, each group produced innovative ideas and concepts. One of the ideas that emerged was the use of pineapple leaf fiber as raw material for making environmentally friendly plastic and organic rubber-based paving blocks. This innovation was enthusiastically welcomed by Mr. Hengky, who then recommended that the idea be registered with the Technology for Indonesia (TFI) program, which is part of the KSE Foundation work program.
After the presentation session, Mr. Hengky gave a review of each idea from each group, and appreciated each idea submitted. He expressed his hope that these ideas could continue to be developed and implemented well. “I hope that the ideas that have been conveyed can soon be translated into real action. "Remember that the strength of an association lies in togetherness and commitment to support each other in achieving bigger goals," said Mr. Hengky.
