Srikandi FE UI 2003 is one of the donors of the KSE scholarship which comes from alumni of FE UI students class of 2003. In order to also educate the life of the nation, Srikandi FE UI 2003 provides scholarships to outstanding female students at several well-known universities in Indonesia, namely 12 students from the University of Indonesia, 1 student from Cenderawasih University, 1 student from Nusa Cendana University, 1 student from Hasanuddin University, 2 students from Pattimura University, 1 student from Sam Ratulangi University, and 2 students from Tadulako University.
The ceremony and seminar with the theme "Communication Skills for Leaders" was held boldly on February 7 2024. Karya Salemba Empat Foundation (KSE) together with Srikandi FE UI 2003 aims to provide inspiration to students so they can convey messages clearly and communicate effectively and develop speaking skills. This activity was attended by approximately 150 students from 35 PTN KSE Partner.
The series of activities began with an opening by the Master of Ceremony (MC), then continued with singing the national songs Indonesia Raya and Mars KSE. Then, the event continued with a reading of the achievements of the 2003 Srikandi FEUI scholarship recipients. Next, there was a speech delivered by Mr. Hengky Poerwowidagdo as Chief Operating Officer of KSE. Mr. Hengky Poerwowidagdo said that there are many things you can get from becoming a KSE student and hopes that the students can apply the good values that exist at KSE.
Then, the event continued with remarks from representatives of the 2003 FEUI Srikandi as well as symbolizing the 2003 FEUI Heroine Scholarship program for the 2023/2024 Academic Year by Yogi Harsudiono. The symbol of this scholarship program is represented by Reva Ananda from the University of Indonesia who is one of the recipients of the 2003 Srikandi FEUI scholarship.
Then, the event continued with the presentation of material related to "Communication Skills for Leaders" delivered by M. Zaenal Abidin and Felita Elizabeth. In his presentation, M. Zaenal Abidin explained that to create effective communication it is necessary to realize the importance of differences in viewing things. He also explained the 4 color energy groups that describe each of us. In this session, a simulation was also carried out to better understand our color energy tendencies.
Next was a presentation from Felita Elizabeth who explained the art of communicating, starting from how we recognize the person we are talking to to how to communicate well. The scholarship recipients were very enthusiastic about the presentations from both of them until at the end of the session there were various questions. These questions came from Maria Cinthia Gultom (UI), Ratu Tiara Nutlita (UNTIRTA), Nadya Rahmadayanti (ULM), Shirin Zarqaa Rabbani (UI), and others.
We hope that the Srikandi FEUI 2003 scholarship program can encourage and help prepare scholarship recipients to become graduates who have integrity, have a national outlook, love their homeland, homeland and nation and have the capacity and competence to become potential leaders in the future.
