Apresiasi IPB’S Scholarship Contributor 2023

Appreciation of scholarship donors or IPB's Scholarship Contributor is an activity organised with the aim of giving appreciation to donors and partners who have provided scholarship funds to IPB University students. The activity was held on Tuesday, 7 November 2023 at the IPB International Convention Center, Bogor.

Director of Student Affairs of IPB University, Dr Ujang Suwarna in his report explained, the development of scholarships and tuition assistance for IPB University in 2020 to 2023 continued to increase the number of donors, and the funds that had been collected in scholarship funding reached 117 billion rupiah.

KSE is one of the donors who consistently provides scholarships to Bogor Agricultural University students, apart from providing regular scholarships, KSE also provides soft skills to students including Leadership, Financial Literacy, Career Coaching, Personal Coaching and Community development which hones students' skills in socialising with the community. This was very well received by Bogor Agricultural University.

In addition, IPB also welcomes donors, who not only provide scholarships but also provide provision to students such as leadership, career management, soft skills training and student activities with the community.

In his speech, Vice Rector of IPB University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof Deni Noviana thanked the scholarship donors who actively contributed so that 44 per cent of IPB University students could receive scholarships.

He revealed that today's activity was a form of gratitude. He hopes that donors can continue to grow because there are still many IPB University students who need scholarship assistance, therefore assistance from donors is valuable.

It is hoped that in the future there will continue to be good cooperation between Bogor Agricultural University and the donors who provide scholarships, especially the Karya Salemba Empat Foundation.
