Niki Nugraha: Learn, Strive, and Share

Niki Nugraha – Alumnus of the Faculty of Economics, Padjadjaran University
Director of PT. Vaganza Solusi Internasional

Niki Nugraha, who doesn’t know this figure? A native of Bandung, West Java, whose name is widely known for his successful business venture called PT. Vaganza Solusi Internasional. Niki earned his bachelor’s degree in Social Anthropology from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences.

UNPAD, in 2007, and continued his master’s studies in Business Administration at the ITB School of Business and Management in 2014. The KSE scholarship he received while studying for his bachelor’s degree had a profound impact on him. In 2008, Niki already had a desire or passion to become an entrepreneur. The KSE scholarship fully supported its recipients in becoming such individuals through the training provided.

PT. Vaganza Solusi Internasional is a business engaged in the digital agency sector. The business was established while he was still a student at UNPAD. He and his university friends dared to start a business at that time because they gained knowledge in leadership, marketing, branding, and production from events organised by KSE. Additionally, for Niki, KSE also encouraged, trained, and supported him in the field of entrepreneurship through various competitions.

Being a successful individual is not only for oneself, as demonstrated by Niki. Even though she is already an alumnus of the KSE scholarship programme, Niki’s enthusiasm for KSE remains strong. Together with her friends in the KSE Alumni Association, Niki founded KARCIS (Koperasi Cerdas Indonesia Sejahtera or Indonesian Prosperous Smart Cooperative). This KARCIS programme ultimately benefits KSE scholarship recipients at 35 state universities across Indonesia, as well as alumni who are just starting to develop their businesses for capital.

To date, PT. Vaganza Solusi Internasional has acquired 32 clients. “We already have quite a number of clients and are gradually growing,” said Niki.

“KSE does not simply let its children go, but continues to look after them even after they become alumni. My database and contacts are still there. They continue to be nurtured and supported until we finally gather again, taking the initiative to create various programmes at KSE, such as KARCIS”.
