Owner of Beauty Mask, Alumnus of KSE Universitas Jambi (Unja)

Since my first year of higher education at the University of Jambi in 2017, I have been quite interested in the world of business and trade, which I did to supplement my monthly allowance. Since then, I have continued to seek additional pocket money through scholarship programmes. In 2019, I became one of the first recipients of the Karya Salemba Empat scholarship at Unja.

I recently realised that the KSE Scholarship not only provides financial assistance but also soft skills development. One of the programmes I participated in was the KSE Entrepreneur Academy. The KSE Entrepreneur Academy programme gave me the opportunity to learn many things about the business world. In this programme, I was taught how to survive in any situation. The coaching and training sessions provided were also very useful in broadening my knowledge of the business world.

The thing that I always hold on to and remember to this day is the importance of legal standing and sound finances for a company. What left a particularly strong impression on me was the one-on-one coaching session that trained me to remain resilient in the face of business challenges, because fundamentally, where there is a problem, there is a solution. This programme also provided me with connections to fellow entrepreneurs from all over Indonesia who were also participating in the programme. To this day, I continue to learn how to develop the business I started and begin to expand into other areas.

KSE Scholarship provides a wide range of opportunities for all recipients. I am very grateful to the KSE scholarship and hope that the entrepreneur academy programme will continue to exist to help and train scholarship recipients to survive and learn about real business from coaches and other speakers.
