Jakarta, November 6, 2025 – Karya Salemba Empat Foundation (KSE) held a friendly gathering attended by members of the Board of Trustees, management, and donors at Seribu Rasa Gunawarman. The event brought together 26 participants in a warm and meaningful evening, aimed at strengthening relationships among KSE stakeholders and reaffirming their shared commitmentto advancing education in Indonesia.

The event began with welcoming remarks from Mr. Adrian Karim Januar, who served as the Master of Ceremony and Chairman of KSE. In his opening speech, he expressed deep gratitude to all parties who have supported KSE throughout its 30-year journey, including donors, trustees, and staff members who have actively contributed to the development of scholarship programs.
“Thank you for your trust and continuous support. Through this collaboration, KSE has been able to benefit more than 2,200 scholarship recipients across Indonesia,” said Adrian.

Following this, a heartfelt address was delivered by Mr. F. Chapman Taylor, Distinguished Philanthropist and Member of the Board of Trustees of KSE. In his speech, he emphasized the shared responsibility of creating equal access to education.
““It is our collective responsibility to provide opportunities for shaping intelligent and capable individuals through education. I hope that in the near future, KSE can reach 10,000 scholarship recipients. Let us continue to extend our hands and help Indonesia’s young generation to learn, grow, and achieve their full potential,” Mr. Chapman conveyed to the audience.
His message served as a powerful reminder that education is not merely the duty of institutions or individuals, but a shared collaboration across all sectors. His vision reflects KSE’s long-term commitment to expanding access to quality education, ensuring that more students from diverse backgrounds can pursue their dreams. With strong donor support and synergy among partners, KSE’s aspiration to empower 10,000 scholarship recipients is not just a number, it is a symbol of hope, sustainability, and dedication to the nation’s progress.

The event continued with an inspiring sharing session by KSE Alumni Iccu Marwati from KSE University of Indonesia chapter, who shared how the scholarship has shaped her confidence and life journey.
““KSE provides equal opportunities regardless of one’s academic background or university reputation. As a French Literature student, I once doubted myself, but KSE assured me that every woman, no matter her field, deserves to dream, to grow, and to thrive.”
Her story beautifully illustrated that KSE is not merely a scholarship program but a space for empowerment, growth, and character-building. KSE believes that every individual holds unique potential and dreams worth fighting for. Through scholarships, personal development training, and continuous mentorship, KSE helps students not only complete their education but also develop the confidence to pursue their aspirations and become agents of change.

In addition to being a moment of appreciation for KSE donors, the gathering also served as a platform for reflection and collaboration, where participants exchanged ideas about the future of education in Indonesia. Surrounded by an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie, guests engaged in thoughtful discussions and strengthened professional connections that have long supported KSE’s mission.
This event not only celebrated collective achievements but also reaffirmed KSE’s commitment to nurturing empowered and high-integrity youth through education and character development. The evening concluded with a group photo session and a dinner filled with warmth and optimism , a memorable moment underscoring the importance of continued collaboration in building a brighter future for Indonesia’s education.
