This July, Karya Salemba Empat (KSE) Foundation held the final round of interviews simultaneously in various offline locations. The enthusiasm of KSE scholarship applicants reached its peak with 33,848 applicants from 35 partner universities across the archipelago competing for this prestigious scholarship.
The selection process began with document selection and online verification. Of all the applicants, 18,840 qualified for the first interview stage. At this stage, interviews were conducted by the KSE Association.
After going through the first interview stage, only 8,183 applicants managed to proceed to the second interview stage. The selection process became more rigorous at this stage, with a more in-depth and comprehensive assessment to assess the potential and commitment of the applicants.
Collaboration and Participation of Various Parties
The second round of interviews involved 624 KSE scholarship alumni, 34 scholarship donors, 6 KSE administrators, and academics from partner universities. This collaboration shows the support and active participation of various parties who have a high concern for the development of education in Indonesia.
The alumni involved have valuable experience as KSE scholarship recipients and now contribute to the selection process. Meanwhile, committed donors who provide financial support also play a role in ensuring the quality of scholarship candidates, and the academic community adds the academic and administrative perspectives necessary to assess applicants objectively and fairly.
